Problems arise when filming crosses borders. Scouting locations, renting equipment, finding crew members, and casting extras are all difficult to manage. The production systems in China and the United States also present different legal provisions. We can guide you through these challenges with our consulting and production services.

 

To provide an example, "Best Year of My Friend" is a low budget movie about Chinese young students who are studying abroad. The film required over 30 scenes in Los Angeles and around 10 scenes showing the environment of an East Coast American university. As a global center of film production, Los Angeles is filled with highly qualified freelancers. We cooperated with the Association to find freelancers to serve as crew members. We also found the most suitable equipment provider, through extensive price comparisons, to meet the production budget. We even found a school with East Coast collegiate architecture in a small city near Los Angeles. Thus, we were able to avoid the travel costs of shooting at a college on the East Coast, and all the scenes were successfully shot in the Los Angeles area.
